Just like Changi, KLM has no lounge in DPS. Lounge service is contracted to Premier Lounge. Compared to the old premier lounge, the new lounge seems to be smaller and a significant regression in terms of food choices.

Another article from CHC, this time on ANA Suites Lounge in Narita Airport which is the First Class Lounge for Star Alliance.
Review of ANA suites lounge
Transit time 1h45m
Skyteam seems to have a weak presence in Singapore, hence none of the Skyteam carriers departing Singapore have their own lounge (Korean Airlines, Delta, KLM etc.). Instead, passengers will get to use the Dnata Lounge (previously Skyview Lounge, which has since been discontinued).

After 5 days in Bali, it is time to head home. Unfortunately, I was sick for half of my trip hence I didn’t take much pictures for this flight.
I arranged a private transfer from Club Med to Ngurah Rai Airport which took about half an hour. The new airport looked much cleaner and organized, but the efficiency somehow failed to catch up. We were dropped off at the departure gate and proceeded to the counter. Unlike most airports where the check in counters are in the public area, DPS airport has its check-in counters behind a security screen. There will be a security officer inspecting your passports and your belongings need to go through an x-ray machine before being allowed into the check in counters.
Finally, that time of the year again! However, this was just a short family getaway to Bali. As mentioned in my previous post, I bought 6 (4A + 2C) tickets early this year for $3.2k (using DBS-Expedia promo) and subsequently I found out that KLM was having an offer. Thankfully, I managed to cancel my old tickets at no cost and rebooked the same tickets at $2.2k (a massive $1k savings). So how does KLM’s World Business Class fare?
I had a short break from 11 March to 14 March in Kuala Lumpur to visit my parents (and at the same time meeting up with my sis who was taking a short break from Finland). This trip was meant to be a break as I had been very busy since beginning of the year.
As I had some 15,000 miles left in my JAL Mileage Bank (expiring in June 2016), I decided to use it to redeem a return ticket on Malaysia Airlines. Accumulating miles on JAL is extremely difficult in Singapore (with no earning partners) and JAL redemption chart is not to my liking (distance based instead of sector based).
My upcoming review will be on MH 628 (SIN-KL) and MH 605 (KL-SIN) on Economy Class. Both flights are on 737-800 (I used to remember MH used to have A330 going between KL and Singapore).
