Plaza Premium First lounge in KLIA Satellite (not to be confused with Plaza Premium Lounge) is a brand new lounge in KLIA that has been contracted by Qatar Airways to serve as their Business Class lounge. This lounge also serves as the lounge for Etihad and Turkish Airlines too. It is located near Starbucks.
On entering lounge, I was immediately offered luggage store. I was then escorted to the dining area where a brief introduction of the lounge was given by the escorting agent. This lounge serves both buffet and Ala Carte (pre-flight) options. Upon seating, I was given a wet towel to freshen up. As my flight (QR 853) departs at 2:30 am, there isn’t much choice for supper. I tried the herbal soup, with some items from the buffet station and finished my supper with some dessert.
Alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages are available but there were no sparkling wine / champagne in the lounge.
The lounge has a very nice work desk with good tarmac view. The sitting area is quite cozy and comfortable. Shower facility is also available.
