After my experience with the Air China online check in, I decided to forgo it for my return leg and just do the check in in Tianhe airport instead.

This would be the highlight of the 4 flights with this flight being operated by the homegrown Comac C919. The original flight was initially meant to be an A330 which was subsequently swapped to a 737 Max 8 and finally Comac C919. Being the challenger to the established Boeing 737 series and Airbus A320 series, how would this plane fare?
I was on the verge of giving up on writing, but I have decided to resume this after almost 2 years of hiatus. Travel will no longer be the same ever, first with my salt restriction from my kidney removal and now with Type 1 Diabetes because of the complications of my cancer treatment. As travel remains my passion and it keeps me going, I shall try it again.
I shall be reviewing my Air China experience, starting with CA 976.
It has been an extremely busy 3 months and I have not been able to find time to write my review on my Fukuoka hotel and ryokan. But as of today (and the next 10 days), things have changed.
I was looking forward to end of February for a few reasons:

I booked this trip for my family year end trip and the price was certainly attractive! I paid $470 per person (all inclusive) which is way cheaper than what I paid for my ticket to Wuhan. Both SQ 830 and SQ 833 is flown on the A380, specifically the new A38R. The last 5 A380-800 that was delivered last year spots the new Suites (6 Suites in the forward section of upper deck) and the all new Business Class (with the double bed at the bulkhead). The Premium Economy and Economy section however is the same as that of the 2015 and 2013 design. Besides Shanghai, the other destinations that utilizes the A38R include Hong Kong, Sydney, London and Zurich (I am still hoping for SQ25/26 to get this but I doubt this will be the case).

We had to do a last minute trip to Wuhan for a few days. It was unfortunate that we had to give up the same ticket we redeemed in September using the 50% discount on spontaneous escape. I had wrote a brief review on Silkair Economy Class for our travel in June (exact destination) and let’s see how does Silkair’s Business Class stand?
