Check In
Southeast Asia flights on Singapore Airlines departs from Terminal 2. Regardless of terminal, Changi Airport is efficient as ever! Check in and clearance of immigration happens in less than 10 minutes!
Lounge
As many short haul flights depart in the morning, Terminal 2 Silverkris lounge was packed to the brim! I still managed to get a seat for a simple breakfast. Buffet spread has not changed (from what I can recall from before) and a live noodle station is available. Spread is standard, and I would say it is above average and much better than other airport lounges.

Hardware
Ferrying us to BKK was 9V-SCY, a very new Boeing 787-10 that was delivered from Charleston in June 2024. The one thing that is sorely missing in Changi Airport is a separate security check line for premium passengers. Nevertheless, I managed to get through in 10 minutes. A surprise was that Milelion was on the same flight as I was.

Boarding was a little chaotic as there was no proper announcement. Once on board, we have the crew showing us to our seats.
The 787-10 uses regional seats, which does not require any turn down. It can be narrow for those with big frame but thankfully, I have lost 20 kg from my peak traveling days pre-covid! The seat fits me nicely, both width and length.
Each seat has direct aisle access as seats are arranged in a staggered 1-2-1 configuration.

TV screens are reachable and being a touchscreen, it is better to control it with your finger than with the remote. For remote fans, there is one at the seat.\
Singapore Airlines is using a new noise-cancellation headphone in the Business Class cabin. Being lighter and foldable, it felt more comfortable than its predecessor and better noise cancellation (subjective).
As the flight is so short, I did not lie the seat flat but from my previous experience with this seat I managed to sleep quite comfortably in it.
2 toilets are available at the front and despite being a short haul flight, it is stocked with the standard amenities (including dental kits).
Software
Service as usual is polished and impeccable. The crew were warm and friendly from boarding to disembarking. Approachable as always.
I felt bad that I created a mess as I accidentally spilt my yoghurt on the cabin floor. I was very apologetic, but the crew was very reassuring that it was all right.
The food was a single tray service with a smaller bakery selection. Being breakfast service, the BTC options were limited. I prebooked the omelet with veal sausage. The omelet was not salty while the sausage was sadly ignored.

Overall Impression
The regional Business Class seat may not be the favorite, especially for those with big frames but it was cozy and comfortable enough for me. I may dislike the 3-point seat belt, but this can be converted to 2 point after taking off.
The TV screen is big and the touch screen responsive hence I did not need to use much of the remote control.
The food was all right, albeit with limited selection even for BTC given breakfast service.
The crew was as usual, excellent!
