Hyde Park was busy on a Saturday morning with many joggers and people walking their pet. One of my favorite parts of Hyde Park is the lake, looking at the swan and geese. The other being squirrels but there weren’t many squirrels in sight during my stroll there.

It was meant to be a short stroll but somehow, I decided to walk further to Queensway to try out the famous duck rice which everyone has talked about. What I thought was just a short walk ended up as a 3.5km walk to Queensway. The 2 popular joint, Four Seasons and Gold Mine are located quite near each other and both were open only at 12pm.

Randomly I selected Gold Mine and I packed a box of duck rice back to the hotel. The duck was fatty and juicy and is certainly much better than what I had in Singapore. I only ate half the share due to my dietary restriction.
The rest of the day was spent in lounge and in hotel resting.
The following day, my objective was to look for a Marks and Spencer to hunt for the Strawberry Scones. After a late breakfast, I made a detour to Buckingham Palace and managed to catch the change of guards. Subsequently walked up to Oxford Street Marks & Spencer and managed to get 7 box (everything available!).

This sums up pretty much my 48 hours in London. I was spending my time mainly in my room and in the Club Lounge.
After a short 48 hours stay, it was time to fly back to Singapore.
